On Memorial Day weekend 2001, several riders rode to Meers for a famous Meers Burger We left Oklahoma Honda, taking the scenic route down to the Wichita Mountains, home of Meers, an old gold mining town, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Meers is famous for its Meers Burger, served on a 9" pie plate, it completely fills the plate, and is cut into quarters to make it easier to eat.
After lunch we rode to the top of Mount Scott to enjoy the wonderful view.
